CSIR-NET Geology

 CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and lectureship in various subjects, including Geology.

The CSIR NET Geology exam comprises two papers - Paper I (General Aptitude) and Paper-II (Geology). Paper I is common for all subjects and tests the candidates' aptitude, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude skills. Paper-II is subject-specific and tests the candidates' knowledge and understanding of Geology.

The Geology syllabus for CSIR NET includes topics such as Geomorphology, Structural Geology, Paleontology, Mineralogy, Petrology, Stratigraphy, Economic Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Geology, and Geophysics.
